Welcome to the Bangkok International Life Skills Centre (BILC). The BILC is a centre committed to promoting and developing life skills for children and individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
My work in special needs began when my eldest son was diagnosed with Autism. It was a challenging time for my family and we sought after resources that did not yet exist in Thailand. I was motivated by my son and the needs of our family to support him and help him grow. As he has grown, so has the Autistic Thai Foundation (ATF). I started the Autistic Thai Foundation as a platform to advocate for the needs of children on the spectrum and for families who were in similar situations as my own. We then began to grow and work with the Ministry of Education and Thai legislation.
We hope that with our new international centre we will be able to provide more opportunities and access for families in an international setting. The core value of the ATF is to work closely with families and we will continue to do so at the BILC. We invite all families to contact us about their needs at firstname.lastname@example.org
